A few impressions after first 2 days

My 2 intense days have passed already, and there are already the first impressions, even though i believe they will change with some time. And also pictures will come soon, i just need time to makethem more beautiful. So here they are, the first glance impressions after 2 days:

• Extremely hot weather and high level of humidity, just like in India;

• People are everywhere – and all of them Chinese people, and they tend to be reserved, serious, going seriously near you and not paying attention to foreigners at all;
  

• Hong Kong girls look very stylish, and are slim – as I was told they all take care about their appearance and weight;

• On the streets you never see animals (dogs or cats) and no poor people begging, no garbage;

• The city is full of young people – I rarely saw old people walking;

• Everything is totally packed – I mean streets and buildings. Even rooms, corridors are so small, that you can’t run for example (I love running in the flat:)) Hong Kong people are short of place to live, that’s why there is not so much place around you;

• High buildings, modern technologies, silent and high-tech metro – these are just first signs of being in the 23^rd century. Before coming to HK, i read some notes of Ukrainian traveller, who wrote that we lived in 21st century, Hong Kong people lived in 23rd;

• Hong Kong is amazing place to have a great career, to be a professional, but as I see it's not a very good place for personal or family life, coz all people are busy with their jobs, getting to the workplace and running to these places;

• Everyone keeps asking me why did i come only for 3 months, people come here for at least 1 year to work, and after that come back the their countries or go to other places.

Tomorrow i shall start orientation and team building at ICE, also shall visit school and the first workshops. I'm happy about my stay here and really looking forward for being busy and doing useful things.
