It's already a month that i'm here, and there are so many good things that happen to me. Though sometimes it's not that easy to work and live in totally another culture, but all the fruits are worth it, just be sure!
My job place is perfect, because it combines some very important things for me:
- We work in office, creating the strategies, doing much office work, delivering marketing activities, and most importantly we go to many schools and universities during the week, deliver creative workshops and see people, faces, see changes (the fact of interaction with 'alive' stakeholders is crucial for me, that's why i value my experience even more)
What truly brings me inner peace, gives energy and happiness is work
with students. When i see smiles on their faces, they bring increadible
conclusions and solutions on different issues, when i see how much they
changed after a short time - this is it. I feel totally fullfilled. After that i can easily work in the office.
Probably some of you might know, people in China have 2 names: English and Chinese, they
mainly use their English name, and parents let their children to pick
up their English names by themselves. In my class you can meet:
- Orange
- Mango
- Rainbow
- Kismen
- Tom Hanks
- Cherry
- Flower
- People here are increadibly smart and strive for excellence in everything they're doing. They never leave the task unfinished and without high standard. I'm really impressed by the fact how much do they commit to what they're doing. These high standards of each job are visible in every corner of life in Hong Kong. This is caused by the high competition on the labour market, high level of eduction, and also Asian - oriental approach that they have in their souls. Because of this they demand from each other these high standards of performance as well.
I really wish Ukraine and Hong Kong people share this principle more, as i believe this principle brings success and growth to Hong Kong, stability and constant economical development of the country.
This is how we increase creativity not only among our students, but our team:
I'm amazed by it so much, how each conversation can increase professionalism and open my mind to wisdom of people. That's why i feel so grateful for the chance to be here.
